Fifa 19 lower league hints and tips

I am a Southend utd supporter, and every year the release of the latest Fifa means one thing. The start of a new Road to glory.

I get frustrated by the huge number of blog posts about finding cheap gems of youngsters with a starting price of 8 Mil. I am Southend manager that's 4 years of my starting budget.

So here's my guide to lower league Fifa 19.

1. Buy super young players and grow them.

Think of your future budget. Buying a decent 30 something will help this term, but will be worth nothing when/if you sell. This is also where I blow my budget cause they're my investment in the future.

Year 1 league league 1
Aliou Badji approx 1.2m
Dru yearwood unknown he plays for Southend by year 2 he's 70 rated.

Year 2 championship
Ben Brereton approx 2.9m most my budget but fifa 18 game he becomes a beast
Jack lahne 390k
Chistoph klarer 500k

2. Free transfers at end of contract
Jan 1st is the busiest day of year, and budget is thrown into wages. Again aim young for investment. My searching is for 23-25 year old players with < 1 year on contract.

Year 1 league league 1
Darnell furlong 3k wage
Dimitrios Goutas 2.5k wage
Vitor Costa 3.5k wage
Rob Hall 3k wage
Łukasz Wolsztyński 3k wage
Dennis pineda 3k wage

Year 2 championship
Paweł dawidowicz 8k wage
David Barbona 9k wage
Rafidine Abdullah 7k wage
Bautista Merlini 9k wage
Adrían spörle 8k wage

3. End of contract going cheap
If you're short in one area and can't wait til next year, but budget is tight you should still look at expiring players. Clubs sell well below value for you to take them. I am including frees out of contract in this.

Year 1 league league 1
Lasha Dvali approx 500k
Cameron Howison free

Year 2 championship
Jordy Hiwula 750k

4. Search for the unknown
Avoid searching for players in major European leagues, their wages are artificially inflated by where they play. Great players for this level can be found loads of places.

Good search locations
Sweden
Poland
Portugal
Mexico
Austria
Turkey (once you have more cash)
Belgium (once you have more cash)

5. Look for youngsters with a value greater than their buy out clause.

Not bought yet but
Jonathan David of kaa gent release 3m value 6.5m

6. Invest in youth
Obviously but get youth scouts and keep them going out. More you spend the greater results but cheap 10k scouts still find legends. By year 2 I have 8 youth players in my squad. By focusing training sessions on them they become useful too.

7. Rotate your squad
For some reason Fifa rates fitness over skill. By playing a different starting 11 every other game, when fixtures get congested, you'll get better results than always putting out the best squad by overalls.

This is just my games with Southend played at professional level (cause world class just frustrates me) and I can imagine someone reading this saying they don't have that kind of budget at Grimsby. So please comment with players you have found with prices, how they've grown etc.
